Who makes up the rules and changes the systems??? Bazaar isn't it? Where are the days of just walking up to an employer and saying, "Give us a job mate"? Now we have to do research on various employment opportunities, write the perfect resume, as well as a cover letter, and thank you letter! And mostly all without knowing who we are writing it too!

It's not just the job hunter that gets frustrated and spends time looking for work. The employer has a difficult time finding the right person for the job. We have put together areas that list all of the Job Banks that relate to British Columbia, provided information on assisting you with your Career Development, provided meaningful Labour Market Information on your job choices and given you pages of information on ways to construct a Resume.
You have the option to be a member for a small yearly fee. With your membership you can access online consulting services that will assist you in gaining employment. By being a member you will be placed in our database, which will give you instant access to new job postings through our own job matching process. If you are an employer that is looking for potential employees that have the skills and experience that you are looking for, A.S.P. Employment B.C. can be used as a screening agency, which is included in your Gold membership. Job hunters have already filled in applications that have been sorted via industry. Our process involves an experienced employment consultant rather than a computer that creates a job matching service. Applicants that fit the profile of the candidate you are seeking will be emailed/faxed to you.
Alternately you can choose a Silver membership, which gives you among other services, unlimited access to post job openings.

The Service Providers list is set up into areas for you to choose the area which you live or require services. These are Government funded organizations that offer services to all un-employed Canadian citizens that are entitled to work in Canada. Many people are not aware of all the services that are provided to un-employed individuals so we have put them into our data base so you can access information on there locations and courses/services offered. Where the organization has a website there will be a link for you, however not all agencies have their own website so contact information will be provided for you to contact them directly
